Christopher J. Merrick

After completing his federal judicial clerkship, Mr. Merrick served as Special Deputy Attorney General in the Civil Litigation Section of the New Jersey Attorney General's office. While with the Attorney General, Mr. Merrick successfully defended a wide range of claims in both arbitration and in the courts. A native of North Carolina, Mr. Merrick now focuses his practice on the representation of rail and motor carriers in connection with defending high value freight loss claims and other freight related commercial litigation. Mr. Merrick speaks fluent German (having served as an intern for the German Parliament in Berlin) and is an experienced sommelier.
